14. Forensic Wipe

• Sanitize any disks prior to collecting the evidence.

• To sanitize the disk on forensic workstation, use a forensic wipe program.

• Verify that wipe pattern was written to all sectors of the drive.

• Document serial number of the forensic drive and the date of sanitization.
