• Such terminology is often limited to the language used in US Federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and UK Computer Abuse Act:

  • theft of computer services

  • unathoried access to computer resources

  • software piracy

  • theft of electronically stored information

  • extortion commited with computer assistance

  • unathorized access to and theft of financial data

  • transmission of destructive viruses and commands

  • trafficking stolen passwords
